Desi Chickpeas

Desi Chickpeas are smaller than the Kabuli Chickpeas and have a thick dark seed coat. They have a high fiber content and are used in many dishes or ground into flour. We grow our Desi Chickpeas as an intercrop with Flax. Growing these two crops together allows them to share nutrients, reduce disease pressure for the plants and improve soil health.
