Desi Chickpea Flour

We make our chickpea flour from an earthy brown, angular, desi type chickpea, also known as kala chana or bengal chickpeas.  The high protein flour made from these chickpeas is referred to as besan.  It can be used to make savoury pancakes, many baked goods, a crispy coating, gravies, and a functional egg replacement. This four is known to have a low glycemic index.
